The CEAA offers three kind of internships:
EI | Research Internships
The research internships are aimed at young researchers who start their research activity at CEAA, participating in the work of a group or an ongoing project.
The research intern must carry out, under the supervision of an investigator or a professor of higher education, tasks corresponding to a phase of introduction into scientific research and development activities integrated into scientific projects (nº 2 do Art. 8º do Estatuto da Carreira de Investigação, Decreto-Lei 124/99)
ECI | Creditated Research Internships
The accredited research internships are designed to integrate and familiarize young students with the research activity, enabling 6 ECTS credits to be obtained through 150 hours of teamwork within a research group or an ongoing research project at CEAA.Access to these internships - exclusively for ESAP students - is done through a open call and its functioning is fixed by the corresponding Regulation.

EC | Curricular Internships
The CEAA welcomes curricular internships that result from protocols signed on a case-by-case basis and respect the curricular standards of the trainees' home institutions, linking them with the ongoing work at the unit. Each intern is assigned a supervisor who is responsible for framing and guiding the intern during the period of stay at CEAA.
